Boy Scouts of America, Texas Southwest Council

The Texas Southwest Council, Inc. Boy Scouts of America, serves young people in 23 ½ counties in Southwest Texas, (Coke, Runnels, McCulloch, Concho, Tom Green, Irion, Reagan, Upton, Crane, Dimmit, Pecos, Terrell, Crocket, Schleicher, Sutton, Menard, Kimble, Val Verde, Real Edwards, Kinney, Uvalde, Maverick, and Zavala). The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them values of the Scout Oath and Law. The mission is achieved through service to youth by association with concerned, caring adults within the community who help provide character-based values and ethical decision making skills. The Boy Scouts of America provides character based programming to the youth in their communities.
