San Angelo Genealogical and Historical Society
Dedicated to supporting the Concho Valley genealogist through educational opportunities, preservation of history, and publication of historic records, SAGHS provides quality historical and genealogical programs, workshops, and genealogy classes for anyone interested in researching their family roots. SAGHS publishes a bi-annual journal containing member articles and local records. Current projects include an index to burials at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, an abstraction of the San Angelo Standard and many more. The SAGHS Speakers Series features speakers from across Texas presenting fascinating historical and genealogical topics. SAGHS's website, newsletter, journal and books have won many state awards. We continually pursue new ideas and techniques for bringing history alive and helping the Concho Valley genealogist find their family's place in history.
