About the Organization
We believe & know it to be true: Jail/Prison Ministry is one of America's most urgent mission fields! Every day, The Ministry's chaplains, Dennis Trujillo & Linda Freeman, meet with inmate's one-on-one, often within their first 24 hours in jail. Along with the chaplains, our dedicated volunteers-over 130 strong-visit the jail several times a week, teaching the Bible, providing worship music and lessons, creating a "church" environment for any inmate who wants to attend. They also bring recovery programs such as CR, AA, & NA, supplementing the one-on-one ministry with the chaplains.
We serve in one of the most difficult and uncomfortable places that everyone wants to leave-yet our mission is greater than any discomfort or challenges we encounter. True transformation demands patience, consistent compassion, and ongoing dedication. Through powerful inmate testimonies and the restoration of family relationships, we've witnessed genuine life changes.
Many incarcerated individuals will soon return to our communities as neighbors, friends, or colleagues, and their families are already part of our community. Your support helps make a lasting impact-one life at a time. Help us help them.
