Angelo Civic Theatre has been a part of the Concho Valley since 1885 when officer's wives put on a play to raise money for a town clock.
ACT has survived two world wars, a depression, and now a pandemic. It continues to provide the opportunity for the community to participate in live theatre as well as entertain audiences in our area of West Texas, visitors around the state and beyond. For more than 40 years, ACT has produced 6 shows each year with the help of community volunteers. With volunteer opportunities for all ages both on and off stage, Angelo Civic Theatre is a center of performing arts in San Angelo. This is only made possible by community support from the support of our friends and neighbors of the Concho Valley.
